Update the client's Windows and software

Outdated software is an open door for problems. With PCVitalis you see what is pending and update remotely.

What you can do

Updating the agent itself

In the dashboard you choose which machines get the new agent version and update them all at once.

With a restore point first

Before installing any update, PCVitalis creates a Windows restore point, so a bad update can be rolled back. The search queries Windows Update and takes 10 to 60 seconds.

For software, you tick the programs you want and update them; each one is downloaded from the vendor and updated silently, with nothing showing on the client's screen. On machines that must not restart on their own, like a point-of-sale PC, you can block Windows Update (security updates included) and turn it back on from time to time.

Try it on a client's PC today

Try it now without signing up. Once registered, you get everything free for 15 days, no card required. Fixed monthly price, not per machine, and no lock-in.

Frequently asked questions

You can block Windows Update on the machine and allow it when the time is right.

Can this run automatically?

Yes. In Scheduling you create a routine that updates the programs on the day and time you choose, preferably while the computer is idle.
