Profiles that protect what the client uses

There are five profiles: Light, Balanced, Aggressive, Extreme and Custom. Before applying, a short questionnaire asks what must keep working, such as Bluetooth headsets, printers, Xbox, Windows search and fingerprint readers, and those items stay protected.

Extreme also tweaks the graphics driver, runs hotter and needs a restart; it is blocked when the machine is already at a risky temperature. Every applied item keeps its original value, so you can revert everything or a single item.

Can I go back to how it was?

Yes. Gamer Mode can be reverted.

What if the machine is overheating?

Then no profile helps, because the processor slows itself down. Clean the cooler and replace the thermal paste first; then apply Gamer Mode and compare with the health check.
